Hamish MacdougallTURNERFormer Freeman of Torbay, Retired Coroner and Solicitor. Hamish sadly passed away on Sunday, 30th July 2023 aged 90 years. Beloved brother of Margaret (Peggie) and Elizabeth (Betty). He will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and neighbours. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at St Luke's Church, Torquay at 12noon on Tuesday, 5th September. Family flowers only, but donations in lieu if so desired to Rowcroft Hospice may be given online at www.stockmanandloram.co.uk/donations or cheques payable to the charity may be sent care of Vanessa Loram, Funeral Director at Stockman & Loram, 230 Torquay Road, Paignton TQ3 2HN.

My only first cousin whom I briefly knew. I remember Hamish to be kind, friendly and generous. I paid him a few visits to his ‘Woodah’ home where I helped him in his glorious garden and then we had a well earned drink at his local pub, The Carey Arms. He will be sadly missed.
